Resources for a richer life
"Beauty," an essay by Scott Russell Sanders. Starting with an intriguing comparison of images from the Hubble telescope with his daughter's wedding gown, Sanders offers a thoughtful and inspiring reflection on the nature of beauty. Read the essay online, or find it in the Spring 1998 issue of Orion magazine, in which it originally appeared). "Beauty" was honored with inclusion in Best American Essays 1999.
"How Did You Find Me Here" a CD by David Wilcox. David has long been one of my favorite singer/songwriter/guitarists, and this CD from 1989 is one I go back to over and over again. For a glimpse of the world through Wilcox's eyes, treat yourself to the lyrics from "Leave It Like It Is."
