From the magic of movies to the breath in our bodies to the contemplative joys of journaling, there are many ways of tending the soul. This half-day workshop will explore 8 1/2 of them through modalities that include inspiring and insightful presentation, quiet personal reflection, community building, and more. Participants will leave with thoughtful new perspectives and practical skills for living a life that is grounded, passionate, and meaningful. They'll also get an answer to the question: Why 8 and a HALF?..."

About the facilitator:

Dan Keusal, M.S., LMFT is a Jungian-oriented psychotherapist in private practice in Seattle. For more than 25 years, he has led workshops for a wide range of organizations including Microsoft, Providence Health Systems, Seattle University, and dozens of other businesses, churches, and community groups. By integrating practical examples with stories, humor, and the arts, he has gained a reputation for speaking to the heart as well as the head. Dan holds a Masters Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University, and is a Washington State Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. He has studied Analytical (Jungian) Psychology at the C.G. Jung Institute of Chicago, and is a past president of the Seattle Counselors Association. He also holds a degree in Theology from the University of Notre Dame. A life-long lover of the arts, Dan studied guitar at the Griggs School of Music, is an accomplished photographer and writer, and a passionate student of poetry and film. In his spare time he enjoys darts and hiking, and is an avid baseball fan.
